homeschooling is cool

Looking back at 2019 a lot of sad, happy, exciting memories happened to me. But despite of it with the Lord’s help I was able to overcome all the trials that came my way. We may not say that 2020 will be filled with happiness of course we still hold on to what the Lord’s plan for us. May it be trials or blessings we still have to thank him.
How do we start 2020?
1.Start the year with prayer thanking our Lord for 2019. Even if It was a year with upside down of emotions. Let’s nurture our faith in the Lord and be prayerful always. For a wonderful year.
2. Be healthy, Be Fit, start your year thinking about our health. This will be another year and we will be aging again. Honestly speaking everyone will age and is not getting younger. After all the bountiful food that you ate last Holiday Season, let’s burn it down and tone down a bit. Starting with water therapy, drinking water as not to be dehydrated.Eating green leafy vegetables to clean our body. Fruits is also good to retain the glow of our skin. Exercise like walking, zumba and stationary jogging will help you stay active. No need to enroll in a gym if you have a tight budget staying at home and following some workout will do.
3. Track your medicines, check-up and vitamins. If you are the mom you have to check your schedule for the annual check-up, monthly and even the immunization of your kids. You have to check your medicine cabinets and check the expiry date of your medicine. Maybe you need to buy a new one. Doctor’s appointment to monitor your health and maintenance updated.
4. Financial Obligations are to be monitored like tuition fees, credit cards , cheque issued and other installment that you purchased. Even the loan balances, insursnce and health card that you need to settle
5. Stay productive, in your workplace and at home. Don’t be stagnant ans always keep your mind busy because it will help you acquire alzheimers disease. If you have time to browse a book so that your mind will still function at the same time you will be educated. It is different when you use a gadget, books is still highly recommended. It may be some inspirational, fiction, business and enhancing your faith. More books more, knowledge.
6. Stay positive always look at the brighter side of life even if the situation is negative and depressing. For us it may be bad but God meant it for good. We are not given problems that we cannot handle. Looking at it as a new opportunity.
7. Count your blessing and share your blessings. Blessings comes in many forms and during the Holiday Season people look forward to what they receive but we must realize that all bessings comes from the Lord and we have to share our blessings to others. The more we share to others we will be blessed abundantly.
8. Make friends, 2020 is another year and it’s so nice to make new friends and acquaintances. Keeping the old friend that we treasure and meeting new people that will be part of your 2020 journey. It is not an accident that we meet people it is a destiny that we meet them. God’s Plan because we may learn from them or we may inspire them.
9. Be at peace with everyone, to those who have hurt you and whom you have hurt. This may not be the perfect time for reconciliation because it is only in God’s perfect time. Let us learn to forgive and understand people.
10. Be Thankful in everything
This 2020 may we move forward with a thankful heart and opening our heart to new opportunities .May the blessing of the Lord this 2020 fill You and your Family.
Blessed 2020!

Geoff Mabasa delivers the keynote for transitflix’s launch highlighting their vision, product features, and roadmap.

Mediamorphosis: the evolution of ads called transitflix.
Last Friday, September 6, 2019 transitflix has officially launched their platform. Formerly known as GYPSY, transitflix held their launch party at the F1 Hotel BGC. In celebration of this milestone, transitflix wanted to share their vision as said by the transitflix CEO Geoff Mabasa, “(our vision is) to make transit advertising easy and effective for stakeholders while bringing value to the members of the communities.”
The transitflix’s Chief of Staff - Genevieve Reyes opened the event with a short back story sharing the origin of their company which was the “tocino story” where Geoff was offered tocino while riding a TNVS car on his way home. Genevieve also explained the reason behind their rebranding “we’re launching our service under a new name transitflix to live up to a more global recall but our values have not changed.”
To further give the attendees a deeper understanding of how the ecosystem in the business on different two new perspectives, an advertiser panel was facilitated to see the challenges that all types of brands were facing and their expectations towards new marketing. Like what the Managing Director of Techtonic Summit, Lea Ladaga mentioned, “how do we build a community that actually involves them also? Because it’s not about the competition, it’s about continuously growing together... they have values that they want to push forward for innovation and collaborations is always at the heart of everyone.” On the other hand, they also facilitated a partner driver panel, where they invited their partner drivers to express the challenges that they face everyday and how the platform helped them. “Bumibyahe kami ng matagal kasi may inaabot kaming kita kada araw dahil sa mga kailangan naming bayaran... kaya nagpapasalamat kami sa transitflix at dumating kayo sa buhay naming mga TNVS driver at napaka laking tulong samin sa pang araw-araw na pamumuhay.” To give a better overview of the two sides of the ecosystem, they also premiered a thematic video that showcase the correlation of the partner drivers and the stakeholders onboarded with transtiflix.
(Right to left) Entrepreneur and The Final Pitch producers, John Aguilar with his wife and business partner Monica Aguilar, gives a toast to transitflix and CEO Geoff Mabasa. Together on stage are The Final Pitch alumni.

In the next five year transitflix plans to expand their global footprint starting with South East Asia, specifically in Indonesia. On the second year of operation, transitflix is also starting to tap on other modes of transit advertising such as car wraps, and bus wraps.

TANGLAWAN GALLERY OPENS AT SM SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, SUPPORTS NEW GEN OF LOCAL ARTISTS

SAN JOSE DEL MONTE CITY, Bulacan – A Tanglawan Gallery showcasing the works of new generation of local artists and Tanglawan Festival milestones recently opened for public in SM City San Jose del Monte.

As part of the 4th Tanglawan Festival and 19th Cityhood Anniversary of San Jose del Monte, SM offers the hallway of its Basement 2, where the Government Service Express is also located, to turn its white walls to a colorful and meaningful gallery.
“It is a great feeling to see the good partnership of the city, business establishments, academe, as well as the art community.” shares SM City San Jose del Monte Mall Manager Mr. Jose Mari Emmanuel Correa. “We are hoping that through this gallery, we were be able to help our homegrown artists share their talents and promote their artworks and our very own Tanglawan Festival to shoppers and mall goers” he added.

Meanwhile, Congresswoman Florida Robes believes that these kind of works will play a big part in the vision of San Jose del Monte as the rising city. “I know that the ‘Culture and Arts’ project our Tourism Office will really help our children hone their talents” she added.
The Tanglawan Gallery will first feature the paintings from the group of artists in the city, FCPC Filustrados and Sining Tanglawan, whose artworks was done on the spot at the mall atrium last September 01 with the theme of “Kanlungan ng Bagong Pag-asa”, as one of the activities of the 11-day long festival. It will then feature more artworks, photographs, and milestones of Tanglawan Festival.
For the past two years, SM has been very active in participating the Tanglawan Festival, providing events that involves the community. In 2017, SM hosted the cooking demo of 10-foot diameter Giant Valenciana that showcased the local restaurants and was able to fed 500 day care students. In 2018, kakanin makers in the city presented a 10 by 10 feet Tanglawan Logo made of different Filipino rice cake recipes that showcased the expertise of San Joseños in kakanin making.
This year, the gallery aims to be a visual celebration of ‘Hope’ as the word ‘Tanglawan’ came from the word ‘Tanglaw’ which means is torch or light.  Artworks will be displayed in the gallery permanently, while the Tanglawan Festival photographs of achievements will be re-curated from time to time in partnership with the local tourism office.

Here are the highlights of the event:

Macao Imperial Tea is Moving towards the East

Congratulations to Marga Hurtado the first Customer served at Macao Imperial Tea SM Cherry Antipolo.

This is the second branch of Macao Imperial Tea here at the East. The first one is at SM City Taytay.

We have been waiting for this one to open since July because we are a loyal customer of SM Cherry Antipolo and SM City Masinag. Even excited to be part of the blessing and media preview.

Last September 7 they had a store blessing, media, press and bloggers where there to experience it. Personally I was excited to taste their drinks, pastries and food. So Macao Imperial Tea is not just a tea shop but also serves food.

The doors opened to shoppers last September 8 and there was a line at the parking area for the first 100 customers.

And the First 100 customers can score this Happy Bear Tumbler!

And everybody can avail of  a Buy 1 Take 1 promo! For the whole day.

My mom and sister saw the huge crowd of people who lined up till evening. And this week when we visited Macao Imperial Tea the line was still long if you want to buy.
