WHAT MAKES DOÑA ELENA AL DENTE
AN ARTISAN QUALITY PASTA?
Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta is made
the Artisan way of
making pasta – slow drying and not subjected to high heat – this method tends
to preserve the food nutrients more than food cooked in high heat.
It
is made using the long-held Italian tradition of making pasta using special bronze dies.
·
Bronze
dies require much harder and higher quality durum wheat semolina in order to
make the pasta – Al Dente is made from 100% Durum Wheat Semolina.
·
Bronze
die leaves a rough surface that creates ridges on the pasta. These ridges help
sauces cling better to the pasta, thus making it more delicious.
· Also,
the textured mouth feel of bronze die-cut pasta is also much appreciated by
demanding gourmets.
Thanks for the wonderful experience till the next Pasta Month." Al Dente"
