The Manila Hotel Tour
The Manila Hotel is located at the heart of Intramuros Manila, it or the oldest running Hotel existing next is the Luneta Hotel. It celebrated it's 102 years of service to the people. The ambiance of the Hotel was so distinctive because the structure of the entrance is the Old Building which has the Hotel Lobby, we were welcomed by ladies in costume and front door men in costume too. They told us that they really wanted them to be in costume as partn of their uniform to showcase the different costume worn by the people during the Era.

First we went to the Champagne Room which was so nice and cozy, the ambiance was so relaxing that most of us tried to seat and take a photo. The colors were so dainty and ladylike and it has floral accent.
Next we went to the Gen. Douglas Mac Arthur Suite at the 5th Floor of the main building. It was said the this is where Gen. Douglas Mac Arthur stayed for 6 we saw the wing where Gen. Douglas stayed and the replica of some of His things, photos of their family, His medals. And they converted it to Douglas Mac Arthur Suite, because the wing was burned by the Japanese during their time. In case you are interested to check in in The Gen Douglas Mac Arthur Suite you can avail it for 33,400 USD per night with your own butler. You can see the view of the Manila Port Area in the room.

After which we visited the Mabuhay Room where we saw different Painting of Confucius, the theme was Chinese so the color red dominated the place.
Lastly we went to Cafe Ilang Ilang where we saw the different food served, usually the buffet table, I got hungry because of the smell and the dessert that was displayed. But while we where at Cafe Ilang Ilang some of the tour participant including my daughter volunteered to prepare some food which we will be eating with the supervision of Chef. They made California Making and Tempura Making which really tasted good even without the soy sauce. We were so satisfied with the Tour since it's free it is also educational. They even gave us souvenir for being part of the tour.
Cheese!!
Refreshing Drink and Japanese Food at the end of the Tour
Thanks you Manila Hotel Staff. They also told us that they conduct this tour once a month, so if you are interested they will have another tour this October. We really plan to go back because we were not able to see the Pavilion because it was renovated. By the way starting this October every Saturday they have a Trick or Treat event for kids all you need to do is bring them in costume and they will be given free stuff or meal. And I'm looking g forward to they Lobby because they will be decorating it into something spooctacular. Surely we will be back because I just found out that the hotel is owned by Don Emilio Yap the owner of Manila Bulletin which happens to be the father of our God Father in wedding Benjamin Yap.
